The yellowtail amberjack is one of those fish that, when itโs hungry, is even capable of coming after you to get the fish. And thtaโs just what happened to me, I got bitten by one of them while I was swimming in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, close to a feeding site near Guadalupe island.
I was absorbed in taking pictures of the white shark, when this incredible and skilful predator came after me and bit me on my left shoulder making me feel its power.
Every time I look at this photo I get a flashback and instantly touch my shoulder, I still have the pain imprinted, but it was still a crazy experience that triggered in me a great respect for these beings.
