NAMIRI EXPEDITION
Dates:
7th - 12th May 2028
Where:
Namiri - Tanzania
Suitable for:
immersive and wild photography

There are places in Africa where you go to observe nature.
And then there are places where you feel as though you have stepped directly into its wildest heart.

Exclusive Photographic Expedition

From 7 to 12 May 2028, I will take you into one of the most extraordinary and remote areas of the Serengeti: Namiri, a land renowned for its exceptional concentration of big cats and its vast, open landscapes.

Lions, cheetahs and leopards will be the main protagonists of this expedition, alongside the incredible diversity of wildlife that inhabits the endless plains of the Serengeti.

But this will not be an ordinary safari.

Daily program
Dates: 7th - 12th May 2028
Days: 6 days

A journey designed around photography

This entire expedition has been created with one clear purpose: to provide the best possible conditions to observe, understand and photograph wildlife.

We will have safari vehicles specifically configured for photographers, giving us the space and flexibility needed to work comfortably with camera bodies, long telephoto lenses and professional photographic equipment.

We will not simply rush from one sighting to another.

When we find something special, we will have the freedom to stay.

We will wait for the light.

We will observe the animals’ behaviour.

We will search for the best position, background and perspective.

Because the difference between simply taking a photograph and creating an image capable of telling a story often comes down to one thing: having the time to wait for the right moment.

Namiri – The land of cats

For the entire expedition, we will remain in the heart of Namiri, one of the most fascinating areas of the eastern Serengeti.

For many years, this remote region was closed to tourism and dedicated primarily to conservation and big-cat research. Even today, it retains an extraordinary sense of wilderness, with considerably less tourism pressure than many of the Serengeti’s better-known areas.

Its immense open plains also provide an exceptional habitat for the cheetah, creating incredible opportunities to witness and photograph natural behaviour: hunting, territorial interactions, mothers with cubs, predators moving across the plains and the intimate moments of their everyday lives.

Every day will be different.

Every encounter will be unpredictable.

And that unpredictability is exactly what makes Africa so extraordinary.

A personal photographic workshop

I will be personally with you throughout the entire expedition, working alongside you in the field every day.

This experience is not simply about bringing you in front of extraordinary wildlife.

It is about learning how to create an image.

We will work on composition, lens selection, camera settings, managing the constantly changing African light, action photography and, most importantly, learning how to read and anticipate animal behaviour.

Understanding the subject you are photographing dramatically increases your chances of being ready when something extraordinary happens.

The workshop will be adapted to each participant’s individual level, from passionate photographers looking to improve their wildlife photography to experienced photographers seeking unique opportunities to expand their portfolios.

We are not just looking for animals. We are looking for images.

A silhouette disappearing into the dust.

A cheetah walking alone across an endless plain.

A pride of lions illuminated by the first light of the morning.

The eyes of a predator appearing through the tall grass.

A hunt beginning without warning.

A moment that lasts only a few seconds and may never happen in exactly the same way again.

These are the moments for which NAMIRI – LAND OF CATS was created.

An exclusive photographic expedition designed for a very small group, for those who don’t simply want to return from Africa with thousands of photographs, but with a handful of images they will never forget.

How many times have you imagined being there?

If you feel this tour is the right one for you, write to me to get all the info or to reserve your spot.
