In the forest there are an infinite number of eyes watching and to discover them, you have to stop and pay close attention, especially close to you.
The Yellow Eyelash pit viper is a very venomous viper, much smaller than the palm of a hand, which likes to stand on plants where it can observe its prey. Its scientific name is “Bothriechis schlegelii” and it’s commonly found throughout Central and South America. To photograph it I had to stand a few centimeters away for a few seconds with my macro lens.
